Here is the handsome Oscar! He was found on the streets of Bucharest back in October 2022 with his sister. He was extremely scared of humans.

The team have been tirelessly working with him since he was rescued. He has been doing so well in terms of beginning to trust humans – he’s been learning confidence towards humans for lots of the other more sociable cats in the shelter.

His sister has been lucky to be adopted in Germany. Oscar had a home to go to however it has been cancelled. So he is back to looking for a home in time for Christmas. He is our longest standing resident at the shelter, which breaks our hearts.

Oscar loves other cats, so he will need to live with sociable cat/s, who will continue to boost his confidence when it comes to humans. We are looking for an experienced adopter for Oscar, someone who understands his fear and someone who is willing to be patient with him to settle him in and allow him to come to them on his own terms. He could also live in a home with a dog.

He is 2 years old and really has come a long way. He is such a rewarding example of being an ex street cat!
